Where we will gladly bring you to the off the beaten path alleys, where the groups don’t come. We will show you another side of town and continue to the lush spice plantation where you will witness the fragrant spices of clove, cinnamon, black pepper and cardamom grow. After a lovely village walk to our own private home, you will enjoy a home cooked vegan lunch with specialties like Badhia (bean falafel) with coconut chutney, curried vegetables, pilau rice and katchumbari salad. All prepared with fresh spices and love from your local hosts murtala and his wife Khamisa. There is a also the opportunity to witness our sister “Mrembo” spa plantation after lunch.
